As in the past few years, the Gold Mass, a way that the Catholic Church officially shows its appreciation for those working in all sciences, will take place on the feast day of St. Albert The Great at 10 AM on Saturday, November 15 in St. Albert the Great Church, 1395 Girard Dr, Louisville, KY 40222, with a special blessing for all scientists by the Louisville Archbishop, Most Rev. Shelton Fabre. This will be followed by a science talk over lunch (food provided by the Louisville Section- American Chemical Society). One may simply attend the meal and talk or attend the Mass as well, regardless of one’s own denominational background, and be thanked for what we do and who we are. Open to all, no RSVP needed.
